Louisville's starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater will forgo his senior season to enter the NFL Draft.
Bridgewater is listed as a Junior in his bio on the Louisville website. He has, however, already graduated with a degree in sports administration. The 21 year old is the first member of his family to graduate college.
The Houston Texans have the first pick of the 2014 NFL Draft and are expected to choose a quarterback. Bridgewater is now the projected first pick of the draft.
Over three years at Louisville, Bridgewater started every game--all 39 of them. Over those 39 games, he threw a total of 9,817 yards. He can also add two bowl wins to his resume; a Sugar Bowl victory in 2012 and a Russell Athletic Bowl victory in 2013.
With these impressive stats, Houston will no doubt be considering Bridgewater for their first round pick.
